This is the regularly scheduled meeting of the Geneseo Community Unit School District Board of Education. The meeting is held at 648 N. Chicago Street, Geneseo, IL.
Consider/Approve RESOLUTION providing for the issue of approximately $11,000,000 General Obligation School Bonds (Alternate Revenue Source), Series 2015A, for the purpose of building and equipping additions to the Millikin, Northside, and Southwest Elementary School Buildings, and improving the sites of and altering, repairing and equipping school buildings, including alternations, repairs and improvements to the Geneseo High School Auditorium and Stadium, providing for the levy of a direct annual tax sufficient to pay the principal and interest on said bonds, and authorizing the execution of a Bond Purchase Agreement with Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated, in connection with the sale of said bonds.
Consider/Approve RESOLUTION providing for the issue of approximately $16,000,000 General Obligation School Bonds, Series 2015B, for the purposes of (a) altering and reconstructing school buildings and purchasing and installing equipment therein for fire prevention and safety, energy conservation and school security purposes and (b) building and equipping additions to the Millikin, Northside and Southwest Elementary School Buildings, improving sites of and altering, repairing and equipping school buildings, including alterations, repairs and improvements to the Geneseo High School Auditorium and Stadium, providing for the levy of a direct annual tax sufficient to pay the principal and interest on said bonds, and authorizing the execution of a Bond Purchase Agreement with Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated, in connection with the sale of said bonds.
