1. Unity of Purpose
  1. We affirm the unique role of public education, whereby each community collectively pools its resources for the common good through the education of its students. Therefore, we seek to uphold and improve public education for our community.
  2. We want to build trust and move the District forward.
  3. We want to become an effective team.
  4. We want to understand our individual jobs and collective responsibilities.
  5. We want to be a team with a common, focused direction.
  6. We want to create a District culture that supports positive change.
  7. We want to represent the needs and desires of our community.
  8. We want to perpetuate a positive District culture that survives in the face of Board member and staff turnover.
Code of Conduct for Board Members #2
1. I will avoid any conflict of interest or the appearance of impropriety which could result from my position, and will not use my board membership for personal gain or publicity.
